Boeing Stock Gains as Norwegian Air Praises Aircraft Deliveries
Boeing's (NYSE:BA) stock edged higher Thursday after Norwegian Air's CEO Geir Karlsen affirmed the plane manufacturer's improved delivery performance. "Boeing is really delivering aircraft these days," Karlsen remarked during the carrier's earnings call, noting receipt of 12 new 737 MAX 8 jets this year with one final delivery imminent.
The endorsement follows similar validation from Ryanair earlier this year and comes as Boeing ramps up 737 MAX production to 42 monthly units. "It's really nice to see the production line working well," Karlsen added, expressing confidence in Boeing's ability to maintain this momentum while addressing its substantial order backlog.
